The first of its kind in Bangladesh, the MSc and PGD in Early Childhood Development, this pioneering program has a unique curriculum geared towards pre-primary education. With a diverse combination of classroom studies and field research, this one-year program provides professionals as well as private individuals working on early childhood development to further understand major contemporary issues on early years, play and parenting, school readiness, program design and advocacy on a national and global scale.

Early Childhood Development refers to qualitative and quantitative change in human beings from conception till the age of eight. Family is the first learning centre of any child, and early socialization affects their future physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. It therefore becomes imperative to invest in understanding young children’s development, and create a support system to allow children to reach their brightest potential.

Our ECD program offers two types of courses: the Post Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Development, and the Masters of Science in Early Childhood Development.
